Gift Levels[]
I assume the XP Level required is the Level the gift-buyer has to be at to purchase the gift, and the receiver's level is irrelevant? As I am Level 42, and I can give any gift to any player regardless of their XP Level (although I have not verified that a Level 2 player can actually "Take" and "Place" a Pool etc, but I can certainly buy it and "Present" it. So I'm not 100% if the XP-Level requirement means a Low-Level player can not place a higher-XP gift or can not buy a higher-XP gift, or both. DarkMoonRising 08:57, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
I would expect it means you need to be at the specified xp level or higher to be able to present the gift. Being at a low xp level and receiving higher level gift seems to be desirable: you will actively add friends, you will level up a little faster, you will like the game more, and so on. Also, the required xp level is only specified when buying a gift, there is no mention of it anymore when accepting it. CMONYALL 11:13, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
I assumed as much but unable to test it. "you will level up a little faster" - only when destroying them tho? DarkMoonRising 12:29, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
does anyone know if there is a limit to gifts recieved but unplaced? just stored in the 'Gift store'?
